Melanie A. Lawrence, MBA

 

With over 14 years of experience in Human Resources, Melanie has worked with employers of varying sizes, holding senior-level positions in both Human Resources and Payroll.   She  been responsible for both the strategic and day-to-day operations of all HR aspects including employee relations, recruiting, training and development, policies and procedures development and implementation, compensation and performance management, payroll and benefits administration, HR record management, safety and Worker’s Compensation, and legal compliance.  She also worked more strategically by supporting company objectives in the overall planning, development, implementation and budgeting of HR disciplines.

 

Melanie has exceptional problem-solving/dispute resolution capability, outstanding oral and written presentation skills, strong analytical ability, and excellent systems software proficiency, all of which she uses to efficiently assess organizational needs and quickly develop effective strategies that will result in an immediate impact on an organization.

 

She provides clients with human resources support to include on-site HR management, employee training, employee relations advice and support, human resource compliance audits, recruiting, job description implementation, performance and compensation management, policies & procedures development and implementation, benefits administration, payroll reconciliation, employee terminations, legal compliance, and systems implementation project management.

 

Melanie graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Psychology and obtained her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Clark University.  She is currently preparing for the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation.
